Alexis is a Clinical Aide with over two years of experience in mental health and substance use support, a B.S. in Psychology, and trauma-informed certifications. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wilmington University.

Alexis is a Clinical Aide at New Horizons Recovery Centers with more than two years of experience supporting individuals navigating mental health and substance use challenges. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wilmington University. She also holds certifications in Trauma-Informed Approaches and Trauma & Resilience.

Alexis’ approach is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and respect. She strives to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their healing journey. She believes that meaningful growth happens when individuals are met with genuine empathy and understanding, and she is passionate about helping clients build resilience, develop healthier coping strategies, and reconnect with their own strengths.
